Position Description
We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented Program Director to join Zayo’s Enterprise Program Management Office (ePMO), reporting to the Head of Enterprise Program Management. The ePMO exists to
ensure the successful achievement of Zayo’s strategic goals and objectives by creating a culture of trust and
program execution excellence. The Program Director must be capable of managing multiple large, complex,
cross-functional programs simultaneously. This role provides counsel to the executive team to solve unique and
complex problems with broad impact on the business. The Program Director is an expert in program/project
management who leads and mentors teams across multiple active and interdependent projects.
*We’re open to this role working in a remote capacity; however, our ideal candidate will be local to the
Denver, CO area with the opportunity to work in a hybrid capacity for the needed face-to-face relationship
building that is ideal for this type of position.
Responsibilities
* Leads the delivery of key transformational initiatives through leadership of team, often alongside one or
more members of the executive team
* Provides recommendations for decision-making and assume joint ownership for the ultimate success of the
strategic programs
* Collaborates with ePMO team to define & implement enterprise-wide project management governance,
processes, and tools.
* Develops strategy for program execution, process improvements and best practices
* Oversees multiple program teams, ensuring program goals are reached
* Manages program budgets and funding channels for maximum productivity
* Leads cross-functional teams to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan,
budget, and timing for new initiatives
* Creates and maintains executive level program reporting, scorecards and dashboards
* Owns complex program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate
cross-project initiatives
* Provides thought leadership & best practices related to people, process, & technology
* Leads enterprise-wide programs with high level of risks and cross-functional dependencies
* Inspires and cultivates a value-driven company culture
Qualifications
* Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years in an advanced management role (preference given to those
with leadership level program management experience, PMP or PPM certifications)
* Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills, indirect and direct
influencing skills
* Expert working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
* Previous stakeholder management skills related to complex concept
* Strong working knowledge of Salesforce CRM software is preferred
Base pay range: $110,400 – $160,000, commensurate with experience.
