The Senior Dell Boomi Developer/Architect is responsible for defining the data integration architecture and solutions for different client internal and external systems. The individual is responsible for scalable solutions, availability, performance, security and quality objectives; The Integration Architect is expected to understand client’s long term business goals and develop a system integration strategy and solutions to help in achieving those business goals.

Essential Tasks

Integration Sr. Developer/Architect is primarily responsible for Design and implement ETL and Web Service based data integrations using Dell Boomi and SQL.
Develop and Execute Enterprise Data and System Integration Strategy
The individual will be responsible for requirements gathering, development, testing and accountable for production deployment and support efforts.
Works with cross-functional teams including business owners from multiple domains including branch and sales operations, supply chain, accounting and finance, merchandising among all other business functions. They will also work regularly with the broader IT team consisting of Business Analysts and Solution Architects
Has accountability for successful project delivery.
Ensures that projects deliver not only on functionality, but also follow and enhance the overall company integration platform, and adhere to company’s methodology and technical strategy.
Fosters open communication within and between teams that span business and IT
Communicates effectively with IT management and senior leadership, including providing overall project status & health.
Must provide production support to ensure stability and efficiency.
Stays abreast of industry trends and best practices.

Skills

8+ years of experience in data integration design and development, especially the significant experience on Dell Boomi platform.
Experience and knowledge of APIs, Web Services, SOA, ESB, ETL concepts and tools
Experience designing and developing SOAP and REST based web service
SQL language proficiency with at least one of the common database platforms such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and/or DB2 database management systems.
Excellent programming skills in writing Complex Stored Procedures, Queries, Views, User Defined Functions, Cursors and Common Table Expressions using SQL or T-SQL
Experience working with cloud/on-prem and hybrid cloud solutions
Define version control procedures and assist in managing all environments and code releases on each.
Studying data sources by interviewing users; defining, analyzing, and validating data objects; identifying the relationship among data objects
Understanding of data quality concepts, best practices, and tools, with strong experience with data analysis techniques
Passionate to understand complex systems and develop a comprehensive integration strategy is essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audience. Be able to work with non-technical audience to collect and define requirements.
Manage business expectations, set realistic goals with stakeholders and deliver them
Experience in Retail and Distributing industry is a plus
