As a Business Development Associate on the team, you’ll have a unique opportunity to create long-lasting relationships with your portfolio of partners, collaborating on performance optimization and achieving shared business goals. Internally, you will represent our partners in cross-functional product, operations, and business discussions, and bring a distinct perspective to significant business decisions due to your expertise on industry trends, partner relationships, and agreement dynamics.

Responsibilities:

• Participates in the identification, research and prospecting of new partner and small employer accounts.
• Responsible for sales proposal development, negotiation, and sales process.
• Cultivate relationships with prospects from first contact until the deal is closed by delivering exceptional communication.
• Identify key decision-makers and educate them on our clients and the benefits we have to offer compared to competitors in the market.
• Provide relevant context and solutions that resolve client concerns and overturn any objections.
• Work with sales leadership to execute a target account strategy and accelerate the pipeline and qualification process.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and sales techniques.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
• Three (3) – Four (4) years of directly related experience in technical writing and business analysis/process.
• Experience resolving problems and delivering results in a fast paced, ever-evolving environment.
• Experience creating, editing, and formatting materials related to procedures or policies.
• Experience updating and editing existing procedures for accuracy and clarity.
• Ability to write for a wide variety of audiences.
• Experience mentoring and coaching a team of writers.
• Experience working in operations/production environment.
