The Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager and is primarily responsible for ensuring accurate processing, recording, and reconciliation of business transactions for the organization by applying US GAAP, which includes analytical analysis and thorough review of financial records. This role is also responsible for providing timely and accurate financial information to Company management. The Senior Accountant works closely with employees at all levels across the organization to proactively identify and suggest ways to improve efficiencies and processes. Additionally, this role has project management responsibilities, to include coordinating internal resources and third parties/consultants to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. The Senior Accountant monitors project progress through to completion and communicate project status to all stakeholders.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Basic office environment: ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, stoop, use stairs, reach, pull and lift objects. Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Days and hours of full –time position are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Part-time positions may be considered.
No travel is expected for this position.
