- Total Average OBHG Procedures (monthly): 431
- NICU Level 3
- MFM available 24/7
- In-house Anesthesia
- 21 L&D beds; 31 Mother/Baby beds; 31 NICU beds
- Frequent maternal transfers
- Family Practice and OB/GYN Residency Programs (LSU students)
- Faculty role for FP and OB/GYN residents
- Involvement with LA IHI/AIM Perinatal Improvement Committees
Program Details:
- Anticipated Program Start Date: June 2018
- 24 Hour Shifts
- Hospitalists to Provide GYN Coverage
- Hospitalists Not Required to Perform Circumcisions
- Hospitalists Needed for First Assist
- First Assist Available to the Hospitalists
- Backup Available to the Hospitalists
- Backup Available to the Hospitalist: Yes (OB/GYN ED Call)
