The job is ideal for someone who is creative-minded, and can easily work across channels including social media, websites, podcasts, newsletters and more.
The Digital Content Creator will report to the VP of Content Creation and be expected to collaborate with the creative, media, analytics, and social media departments to devise ways to best achieve client goals using content best practices while showing success through clear reporting and measuring against key performance indicators.
Key responsibilities:
- Refining owned assets, including editing photos, videos, & audio to optimize for appropriate channels
- Maintaining brand guidelines and consistency across all channels with attention to detail
- Creating new assets including writing & editing social media copy, creating motion graphics, shooting short videos, taking original photography, making infographics, writing blogs, & more
- Attend video/photo shoots or live event activations to gather assets, provide behind-the-scenes and interactive content
- Demonstrating a clear ability and willingness to learn new skills
- Brainstorming new and innovative ways to engage customers by following and understanding key social media influencers and emerging social trends
- Maintaining brand guidelines and consistency across all channels with attention to detail.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience creating content at an advertising agency, in-house for a company, or similar experience (e.g. a multimedia news organization)
- Bringing an analytical mindset to content creation in order to measure success
- Knowledge of full Adobe Suite or similar editing applications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and consistency
- Proficient across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat
- Familiarity with editing & posting audio files.
