Pastry Chef
A rare and enviable opportunity exists for a highly accomplished professional to implement all elements of daily bakery and pastry production. The selected candidate will provide in-house a high quality, cost-effective product which complements the menus and adds value to the dining services operation.
Requirements
Additional requirements include:
Advanced working knowledge of all production methods for the preparation of all yeast dough.
Complete knowledge of all baking and pastry products to ensure cost effective purchasing, production and minimal inventory is maintained.
Capable of operating all forms of baking equipment.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and use a Point of Sale (POS) system.
High school diploma or GED required.
Graduation from a Culinary school or completion of a Pastry program preferred.
Possess or be willing to obtain Food Handlers certification, as required.
