Veenus Infotechs Looking for SolidWorks Engineer at Troy, MI Full Time

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for CAD design and layout of advance battery and hybrid and electric vehicle systems in conjunction with other engineers and designers.

• Propose solutions/enhancements to design problems or modifications to designs

• Support Design Reviews with Product Development Team

• Collect information on product requirements/specifications as required.

• Administer CAD data transfer to customers and suppliers

• Responsible for CAD design changes & engineering change control.

• Utilizing PDM system for part releases.

• Support engineering change control activities

EDUCATION:

• Typically requires a two or four-year degree in mechanical design engineering or related technology field of study

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience with Solidworks software.

• Demonstrated ability to propose design solutions to problems or to make recommendations for design enhancements

• Specific experience in mechanical and electrical designs

• PDM system experience such as Solidworks PDM or SmarTeam is a must.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
