HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Job Description

The Human Resources Manager maintains and enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating the Company’s employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.

Duties

• Maintains the work structure by evaluating and updating job requirements for all positions
• Maintains effective staffing levels by establishing and maintaining an effective recruiting, interviewing, and hiring program
• Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs
• Ensures proper planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employees’ work results by training, coaching, resolving grievances, and counseling employees and supervisors
• Maintains the Company’s benefits programs and informs employees by understanding benefit needs and trends, assisting the Company’s management in evaluating benefit plans, assisting in the processing of benefit claims, designing and conducting educational programs on benefit plans
• Ensures the Company’s workplace compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements, and maintaining appropriate records
• Supervises the payroll department staff and directs the Company’s payroll processes
• Assists the Company’s senior management in preparing, updating, and recommending human resources policies and procedures
• Maintains appropriate professional and technical knowledge of human resources management
• As a member of the Company’s management team, contributes to the overall Company’s efforts by accomplishing related results, as needed

 Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field or appropriate combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 2 years in human resources management, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Experience in Recruitment, Employee Relations, Human Resources Management, Benefit Administration, Employee Performance Management, Employment Law
• Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations
