Job Summary:

The Logistics Manager’s role is to oversee the Maine office and the operation of the organization. The Logistic Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of the Product Specialists that work out of the office. The role also requires ownership of the office’s materials and inventory levels. This is a highly collaborative role that requires a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a sense of due diligence.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Works with the General Operations Manager to forecast staffing demand.
• Closely monitors the performance of the Product Specialist team through audits.
• Responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service through the Product Specialist team.
• Sets expectations and creates a collaborative culture of employees of the office.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manages Product Specialists with the territory.
• Create work plans in conjunction with Customer Service Manager/Dispatch Lead.
• Reviews and updates system software to mitigate human error.
• Forwards daily inventory report, purchase orders, and warehouse metrics to material management and operations.
• Works in conjunction with Dispatch and Sales teams to make sure operations run efficiently.
• Manages and coordinates the delivery of all Durable Medical Equipment.
• Provides patient with comprehensive training and education on prescribed Durable Medical Equipment.
• Manages maintenance of equipment.
• Retrieves critical documentation verification required for State and Federal healthcare regulatory compliance.
• Remains proficient in software system required to manage day to day schedules.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or some education with five years of related experience required.
• Supply Chain, Operations, and Customer Service experience preferred.
• Medical Terminology Proficient. (Preferred)
• Health Care Experience. (Preferred)

Pay:

· Starting at $52,000
