Valve Software Looking for Supply Chain Logistics at Bellevue, WA Full Time

We’re looking for an experienced Supply Chain Logistics individual to join our Hardware team at Valve and help us deliver world-class products to our customers. Your role will encompass all things related to shipment logistics, inventory management, and hardware recycling, as well as managing and directing our vendor partners.

• Responsible for all aspects of inventory shipments logistics from our manufacturers’ factories to our third-party logistics companies’ warehouses to our customers
• Manage the day-to-day relationship and perform the daily work needed with our manufacturers, customs brokers, third-party logistic companies, and environmental hardware compliance providers
• Develop, define and implement “best logistics practices” to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate and work cross-functionally with hardware, finance, tax, support, legal, and engineering teams to ensure communication, transparency, and execution on projects and tasks.

• Degree in either Business, Supply Chain Management, or Relevant Engineering
• 5+ yrs experience in supply chain logistics management functions
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to identify issues, research, and escalate when necessary
• Ability to see “forest” in addition to the “trees”
• Flexibility, passion, and drive in making functions/processes better
• Curiosity and willingness to take on new tasks/projects
• Self-starter, ability to work independently (ability to manage own time and tasks without oversight) and be collaborative in working with others (focus on succeeding as a team / company, not an individual)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
