Full Job Description
Education-assists with:
- Staff development and education.
- New hire orientation.
- Makes frequent rounds of facility to observe employee work practices, identify deficiencies and access educational needs of staff.
- Completes competencies with staff.
- Education reports including staff education hours and Healthcare Academy.
- Annual Skills Fair
Infection Control-assists with:
- Tuberculosis reports for residents.
- Annual influenza and Covid-19 vaccines for residents and staff.
- Provides education for new employees on infection prevention and control practices.
- Maintaining facility wide infection control surveillance.
- COVID-19 testing and vaccine clinics.
- Maintaining all daily and monthly infection control reports.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
