The Human Resource Manager is responsible for supporting the Manufacturing Teams and ensuring the effective implementation of services, policies, and programs throughout the Company. Other responsibilities include the following functional areas: recruitment, associate relations, investigations, and administering policies and procedures.
Recruits, interviews, and schedules testing for qualified applicants for hourly positions. Manages the complete life cycle of an associate. Also, collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
Plans and conducts new associate orientation.
Maintains associate records in electronic and paper form.
Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics to assist management in monitoring labor, attendance, and turnover.
Must exhibit key leadership competencies in addition to high ethical standards, strong values, integrity, drive to deliver results, pride in personal and team performance, decision quality, and action orientation.
Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly ensuring policy compliance.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and associate recognition events as needed.
Work with plant management to assist in any plant-wide safety goals.
Organizing and attending job fairs.
