Job Summary

The Information Security Analyst will work on a multi-disciplined information security team and is responsible for leading information security incident and event detection, analysis, response and metrics reporting. The position will also be responsible for threat hunting across various technologies, implementing automation capabilities, and partnering with other business units on security/risk initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

• Actively supervise tools, systems and network traffic for unusual activity and alerts
• Provide cyber intelligence and metrics-based reporting to leadership on a recurring and ad hoc basis
• Research, recommend and test changes to security policies and procedures
• Monitor logs from multiple sources (network, endpoint, cloud) for security events that require remediation, and respond to and lead all aspects of security-related support and incident tickets
• Work closely with various IT and support teams as well as end users during incident response and remediation activities
• Conduct analysis and correlation across a wide variety of data sets, threats and vulnerabilities
• Stay up to date on the latest internal and external threats to ensure security tools are configured for emerging threats
• Perform malware analysis on discovered samples and build appropriate protections
• Develop and implement automation processes and continuously look for ways to mature security operations
• Perform threat investigations across multiple technologies and optimize technical rules/policies

Job Requirements

Required

• BA/BS in related field or an equivalent in education and experience
• 5+ years supporting an enterprise technology environment
• Network and Compute Systems support understanding (Tier 2 or 3 support)
• Familiarity with Threat Detection techniques
• Data interpretation and analysis
• Superb communication and analytical skills, a critical problem solver and attention to detail
• Security+, CYSA+, CCNA, MCSA
• Network/Systems understanding (Tier 2 or 3 support)
• Position is located in the Vail Resorts Broomfield office

The budgeted range starts at $67,000 – 81,150. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
