Essential Job Functions

• Serve as the first point of contact for all employees for time and attendance and payroll related questions
• Process bi-weekly payrolls for 3k+ employees in multiple states and maintain payroll information in ADP as required
• Review wages computed, audit timekeeping records and correct any errors to ensure accuracy of payroll
• Review & verify available Vacation, Sick, and Holiday Hour balances, and verifying that all such benefits are accruing and updated accurately
• Reconcile selected payroll payment such as Reversals, Voids, Stale Dated Check and Replacement Checks
• Prepare and maintain related payroll records and reports such as Time Off Requests, New Hires, etc..
• Process child support, wage garnishments, and terminations, along with unemployment inquiries related to wages paid.
• Printing of manual checks, coordinating signatures, and shipping to employee’s home or work location.
• Work closely with the Human Resources department concerning processing employee status changes, pay and/or title changes, location changes and leave status
• Advise management of suggested procedural updates, identify opportunities to improve current processes.

Education, Licenses, and Certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• FPC Certification preferred but not required
