HR Generalist
Job Summary:
This position will perform administrative duties related to the operations of supporting the following departments, Human Resources, Marketing and Accounting.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Verifications of employment
* Assist in onboarding/termination paperwork
* Process required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
* Preparation of multiple reports.
* UI & Payroll taxes.
* Employee Concerns and Support
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
* Ability to operate general office equipment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to type 50 words a minute.
* Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, publisher.
* Ability to maintain confidential information.
* Knowledge of HRIS, HRMS and Payroll systems.
* Ability to follow set procedures.
* General Accounting
* General Marketing, maintenance of social media sites.
Education and Experience:
* Associates degree required.
* BA preferred
* Five years of Human Resource experience required.
* Marketing & Accounting experience helpful.
Physical Requirements:
* Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
