Job Description
Urban Engineers is looking for talented individuals to join our Transportation Group in Pennsylvania with the ability for flexible work schedules and part-time remote work.
Candidates will serve as a transportation project manager/senior engineer involved in the details of project delivery including work quality, client service, staff development, scope and fee development, contract management, and budget and schedule control for transportation projects.
Job Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight on planning, directing, and coordinating activities of projects
• Ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters
• Establish work plans, estimates, and coordinate multi-disciplinary staffing for each phase of projects
• Provide subconsultant management
• Train and mentor staff
• Implement quality control practices during all phases of design and plan production
• Deliver projects that meet client and design standards

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
• A minimum of 8 years of transportation related design experience is required
• Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in PA
• Project Management experience
• Experience with PennDOT and PA Turnpike is preferred
• Technical understanding of design standards and specifications
• Working knowledge of Microstation and InRoads/OpenRoads
• Capable of making decisions, solving problems, and performing negotiations
• Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills
• Active engagement in professional organizations
• Able to travel for project related tasks and meetings
