Major Responsibilities
This position is a half-time, two year appointment OEO staff member with a specific focus on special education compliance to ensure that OEO-authorized schools are meeting their contractual obligations related to state and federal IDEA law. This position will require implementing and carrying out the various consultation models. The position will require the independent review of Special Education files from differing eligibility categories and the ability to identify any errors and make recommendations around corrective measures to be taken so that all specially designed instruction is documented properly, designed to truly meet the needs of the student, and carried out to fidelity.

This position is a half-time, salaried (exempt) Academic Staff Appointment. Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting annual salary within a range of $56,250 to $66,250 annual (which will be pro-rated on a half-time basis), commensurate with the candidate’s education, related experience, and qualifications.
