Incumbent will be responsible for all aspects of general cleaning. These duties will include but will not be restricted to the following: emptying waste cans and sorting recycling materials, vacuuming carpets, rugs and runways, dusting, cleaning windows and wet mopping, moving furniture, snow removal, use floor buffers and scrubbers, cleaning restrooms and replenishing supplies. Incumbent will alternate between various buildings and complete work as assigned. This position is subject to alternating shift work and may include weekends and/or holidays.
Incumbent must be able to follow oral and written instructions and possess good communication skills; must be able to climb a ladder; must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and operate various cleaning equipment. Must have a valid PA Driver’s license and verified good driving record. Previous cleaning experience is helpful. You must be able to work mandatory overtime on an as needed basis.
