This position manages college level processes, provides collaborative support for a number of administrative processes and procedures and works closely with the Dean and Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and Inclusion. The Faculty Affairs team oversees Promotion & Tenure procedures and processes, workshops, professional development and recognition of faculty, faculty-oriented programming, special projects and other faculty affairs related initiatives.

This position administers college level processes, provides collaborative support for a number of administrative processes and procedures and works closely with the Dean and Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs. The Faculty Affairs team oversees Promotion & Tenure procedures and processes, workshops, professional development and recognition of faculty, faculty-oriented programming, special projects and other faculty affairs related initiatives.

Faculty Affairs Administration
* Administers college-level faculty affairs processes including promotion and tenure reviews, continuing status and Career Track faculty promotions, retention/third-year reviews, annual performance reviews, and the Post-Tenure Review/Dean’s-Level Audit and other faculty matters.
* Coordinates Sabbaticals and leaves including related reporting.
* Researches data and analyzes it to generate reports for representatives in the Dean’s Office.
* Designs and updates guides including committee charges, dossier preparation guides, electronic system user guides, and timelines with assignments.
* Acts as the college-level administrator for UA Vitae and RPT (Review, Promotion and Tenure). Facilitates case/template set-up, workflow, and provisioning.
* Provides procedural guidance to faculty, department heads, committee chairs, and staff to ensure compliance with faculty affairs processes.
* Audits and makes suggested edits for faculty promotion dossiers.
* Stays informed of university policies, participates in focus groups, and makes recommendations for improving efficiency in alignment with institutional guidelines.
* Solicits and tracks external evaluations for college promotion reviews.
* Maintains promotion clock delay lists, faculty lists, mandatory promotion schedules, post-tenure audit schedules, and sabbatical schedules.
* Reviews, interprets, writes, and implements policy changes.
* Coordinates the Mentor Match program to connect faculty at the start of each semester.
* Coordinates college faculty awards and events including workshops, trainings and mixers.
* Updates and maintains faculty affairs-related websites.
* Participates in search committees as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required.

• Experience in Faculty Affairs.
• Experience with UA Vitae, RPT, UAccess, Analytics, and document sharing platforms (e.g., Box, Google Drive).
• Experience with policy and procedure interpretation and implementation.
• Experience with training and supporting users with business systems.
• Experience managing workflow to strict timelines.
