Unicity International Inc Looking for IT Quality Assurance Testing Specialist at Orem, UT Full Time

Unicity is looking for a self-starting, IT Quality Assurance Testing Specialist who will report to the Vice President of Information Technology.

We are looking for an IT QA Testing Specialist who will be responsible for setting quality assurance processes and policies for Unicity’s software systems. The IT QA Testing Specialist ensures that the company’s software products meet total quality management standards and other reliability standards. This role researches and implements new or improved testing methods, automation, processes, tools, and systems and develops and coordinates appropriate test procedures. The IT QA Testing Specialist is a thought leader for quality principles and processes in the design, development, testing, and delivery of mission critical clinical applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define, implement, and update the testing strategy.
• Configure, use, and manage test environments and test data.
• Ability to assist team members with troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems.
• Provide feedback and training as needed.
• Research and implement new automation, documentation and testing methods and tools in order to maximize operational efficiency and continuously improve product quality.
• Work Closely with Product Managers to establish, develop, and monitor QA processes including standard meetings, approvals, checkpoints, metrics, dashboards, and status reviews.
• Develop and manage quality assurance metrics for assigned projects.
• Identifies and escalate risks and mitigation strategies to maintain high quality project deliverable.
• Develop standard templates and automation frameworks.
• Plan the manual and automated tests to be performed in the upcoming sprints.
• Check and verify compliance with acceptance criteria for each product.
• Proactively monitor and improve quality assurance standards and document them.
• Find, report and document bugs and errors

Qualifications/Requirements:

• College degree in computer science or experience in quality assurance
• Absolute meticulous eye for detail.
• 5+ years of experience in delivering and supporting application software.
• Experience with test automation and management tools.
• Experience in Agile Development environment
• Superior analytical and modeling skills including demonstrated experience analyzing and interpreting complex models from numerous sources, synthesizing reports and viewpoints, and dealing with challenges creatively.
• Exceptional organizational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritize competing demands and achieve results with a customer focused approach.
• Strongly preferred skill set in Direct Sales industry, but not required.
• Must be located in Utah County or Salt Lake County
