POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop, test, support, and maintain applications based on business requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve software related issues.
Maintain code quality through unit, integration, and performance testing.
Monitor and optimize systems to ensure they perform well.
Document code appropriately for maintainability.
Participate in object-oriented analysis and design by applying industry best practices and techniques.
Communicate with product owners and business analysts to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications.
Technical environment: SDLC, iSeries AS/400, RPG/400, RPGIV, CL/400, COBOL/400, Unit testing, UAT, EDI, FTP, XML, PL/SQL, SYNON, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Eclipse, Remedy, Junit, Sprint Test, Aldon, UML Data Modeling.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or with software development required.
