Job Description
Our newly renovated Four Points by Marriott Tucson is currently seeking an experienced, knowledgeable and hands on Chef to maintain the property up to brand standards and Owner expectations. As part of the property team you will help us “craft inspired workplaces that enable all Associates to deliver kick-ass guest experiences and maximize investor returns“! Position Responsibilties:
* Management of day to day Beverage & Food Operations
* Prepare high-quality food and beverage menu items
* Ability to maintain guest confidence through prompt and courteous communication with guests and associates
* Execute B&F to the highest quality of service to guests at all times
* Select/assist in the selection of hotel associates, completes new hire paperwork, reviews associate performance and conducts personnel actions such as disciplinary actions
* Assist in managing aspects of P&L by controlling costs and achieving budgeted CPOR
* Monitor labor productivity
* Train department in all duties and empowerment needed to reach top performance levels
* Support the sales efforts of the hotel and in generating revenue opportunities
* Complete inventory, ordering and re-stocking of B&F on daily, weekly, monthly basis as required
Education and Experience:
* Culinary school program highly preferred
* Experience in front of the house, banquet meeting space, restaurants and bars preferred
* Successful Food & Beverage hotel management experience preferred, progressive Menu Engineering a must!
* Must be highly motivated, self-directed, with strong initiative and desire for achievement
* Exceptional guest service skills required
* Must possess strong computer skills
* Excellent communication and presentations skills required
* Food Handling Management Certification and Liquor Manager Certifications required
