The role of the patient coordinator provides front office support to the team of clinical providers and other service providers. The responsibilities include but are not limited to patient intake, answering phone calls and providing concise, compassionate responses to patients, payments, scheduling, and working together as part of a united team ensuring top-notch customer service to our patients. Our patient care coordinator role is important as it is the role in which the patients develop trust, confidence, and comfort in a true healthcare concierge setting.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about health, patient coordination, and learning and developing within a strong team. Turnpaugh Health and Wellness is an independent medical practice providing individualized care to patients to optimize their overall emotional, physical and spiritual health. We are a four-time winner of Simply the Best Harrisburg award for Alternative. Medical Practice, Chiropractor, and this year, Best Acupuncturist.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent, customer service experience, willingness to learn.

- Outstanding customer service and a desire to truly help make people’s lives and health better
- Great phone and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a cohesive team.
Preferred Qualifications
Medical office or health coach preferred but not necessary.
