Trinity Engineering, PLLC Looking for Forensic Engineer Inspector (GA Region) at Remote Full Time

The Job:

You will drive to and perform inspections throughout your surrounding region and then work from your home office to complete report documentation (no more cubicles or driving to the office). We provide a pickup truck, ladders, and all tools, equipment, and training necessary to become an industry expert in this field, regardless of your engineering background.

You will perform field inspections of commercial, residential and municipal buildings (interior and exterior) including climbing on steep and high roofs (we provide training and safety equipment, but you cannot be afraid of heights!). You will document your findings with labeled photos, field notes, sketches, and written reports, using company provided software and training.

What Background You Need:

You need to have your PE license or be eligible for licensing within 1 month of hire.

No other experience is needed – our in-depth and advanced training will take you from zero industry experience to being an industry expert in forensic engineering, storm damage assessment, construction materials, installation methods and other damage types, regardless of your specific engineering background.

Potential For Increased Starting Salary:

Increased starting salaries are available for candidates with a structural background, or experience in roofing, construction, code verifications, structural damage assessments, flood or water loss evaluations, settlement or geotechnical failures, and root-cause analyses.

Position Requirements:

• You must have a PE license from your resident state or be able to obtain PE license within one month of hire date

• This job is physically demanding and you need to have excellent computer skills (no coding experience necessary)

• You need to be physically able to lift, carry, position, climb up and down an extension ladder up to 36-ft

• You must have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record

• This position will have a floating work schedule – some days you will work entirely from home, other days may require 10 or more hours of travel and inspections. This is not a 9 to 5 cubicle job! We incentivize the days you work longer hours or perform more inspections by paying you more when you work more!

Must be comfortable with heights!

This position involves inspecting roofing and other elevated and sloped structures.

We will train you to use the right safety equipment to keep you safe.

We provide all necessary safety training and equipment.

Climbing on steep and high residential roofs is a large portion of this job.
