SUMMARY
The Director, Marketing and Communications will join Trigger’s marketing team to support and lead the B2B marketing efforts globally. With oversight of the Department Head, this role will focus on building meaningful and ROI driven marketing strategies that resonate in Trigger’s market including: brand building, messaging/content, events, social media & PR. This role will aim to elevate Trigger’s perception and offering in the industry to drive revenue and continuously support sales. This is a new role and will be both an individual contributor and manager within the marketing team.
This position will report directly to the VP of Partnerships and Marketing.

OVERVIEW
Work in collaboration with Head of the Department, CEO, Trigger leadership, and the sales team in all marketing and communication efforts to support our best in class offering, ensure brand targets are being hit and the ROI on activities is being met
Lead the development of brand awareness and online reputation for Trigger including social media pages, website and sales and marketing collateral
Formulate Trigger content marketing plan including paid editorial strategies across a number of Tier 1 and Tier 2 publishers. Drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics
Lead industry partnerships to build a footprint for Trigger (including but not limited to the IAB, ANA, ThinkLA, AdClubNYC)
Develop Trigger’s event strategy including identifying & presenting opportunities that align with our business and target clients, execution and wrap-up reports showing ROI
Solidify Trigger’s positioning as XR and Metaverse thought leaders and develop messaging strategies that will resonate
Oversee Trigger PR, including Press Releases, seek out opportunities for leads for newsjacking and other media opportunities including media interviews independently or in partnership with Trigger PR firm
Oversee awards and Trigger recognition initiatives
Drive internal communications to cross share information within the Trigger organization
Collaborate with clients PR teams to optimize campaign deployment efforts including social campaigns, PR and other digital marketing initiatives and assets, such as sizzle reels and media collateral
Lead weekly department meetings as needed
Lead monthly department meetings/quarterly company-wide updates as needed
Collaborate with other cross-functional department mid-level management as needed to identify opportunities to optimize marketing knowledge sharing, processes, systems and achieve a unrivalled customer experience
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have management experience in an agency or professional services firm environment, ideally in the digital advertising or technology industries
Entrepreneurial spirit with strong attention to detail
Strong persuasive writing abilities
An ability to the energize team, organization and clients to participate in marketing activities
Dynamic strategic marketing and communication planning abilities and the ability to convince senior leaders to invest in advertising to grow the business and attract new clients to Trigger
