Essential Functions*

• Coordinate and monitor workers compensation claims
• Coordinate transitional work program
• Conduct post-injury investigations and compile post-injury reports
• Maintain an OSHA compliant safety environment

Other Duties and Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions)

• Build relationships with TPA and MCO and other health care providers; meet quarterlIdentify safety and health process problems
• Measure success of organizational safety efforts
• Coordinate best alternative to disposition of BWC claims
• Compile injury and illness-related data and analysis
• OSHA recordkeeping
• Work with area management teams on root cause analysis and countermeasures
• Be an active member of CASC
• Perform workplace safety inspections and safety audits
• Provide and schedule EH&S training for area teams and organization
• Attend BWC seminars and provide guidance to organization on available programs and recommend changes
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality, be discreet, and use good judgment at all times
• Be an active member of the Emergency Response Team
• Support TRC Inc.’s Quality and EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) efforts

Qualifications

• High school diploma, secondary education, or certifications required
• High level of TRC operational knowledge or vehicle testing/proving ground experience preferred
• Previous business office experience preferred
• Working knowledge of occupational health and safety programs and compliance preferred
• Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to resolve and deescalate conflict
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organization and planning skills and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and systematic thinking skills
• Valid driver’s license

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time
• Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
• Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers
