Per Diem – Day Shift – No Weekends
Performs within the legal framework of the nursing profession as defined by the Nurse Practice Act of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Actively engaged in work designed to sustain and maintain Magnet Recognition Program® accreditation (identifying and submitting ‘evidence,’ active mentorship and participation in Staff Nurse Leader group activities, preparing unit for Magnet Appraiser site visit activities, etc.).

Qualifications
PA RN License
Graduate of an Accredited Nursing School
2-3 years Critical Care experience
Provider in Basic Cardiac Life Support, and advanced Cardiac Life Support as described by TJUH policy.
In Mammography Division, Basic Cardiac Life Support required.
Maintain certifications as required by the Department of Nursing.
Conditions of Employment
Since this position will require the selected candidate to engage in regular contact with children in the form of care, guidance, supervision or training, you will be required to meet the requirements of the Child Protective Services Act, including the Pennsylvania State Police criminal background check, the Pennsylvania Department of Welfare child abuse criminal background clearance, and an FBI finger print based federal criminal records check. The selected candidate will not be allowed to commence working until all three (3) are completed satisfactorily.
