Detailed Position Information
The Culverhouse College of Business at the University of Alabama is seeking a candidate for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Economics in the Department of Economics, Finance and Legal Studies. Primary duties include teaching economics at the graduate and undergraduate levels, engaging in a research program that results in articles published in outstanding scholarly publications, and performing service as assigned by the Department, College, and University. The position will start August 16, 2023.
Minimum Qualifications
A Ph.D. in economics or a closely related field is required. A demonstrated track record/potential for publication in high-quality economics journals is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates with research and teaching experience in Applied Econometrics and/or Experimental Methods, that fits into one of the following Department priority areas: Development Economics Labor and Demographic Economics Public Economics
