This research-track position in the Department of Engineering Education (EED) is expected to independently seek and obtain external funding to support research activities; generate ongoing funding for a research program sufficient to support graduate students and other resources; establishes a record of high-quality publications; participates in various service areas including department and college committees; represents EED to general engineering education communities.

Essential Duties
100% – Develops a research program that graduates doctoral students; produces peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings papers; supports continued growth of program through grants and other research activities; participates in various service areas including department and college committees; represents EED to the general engineering education community;
Required Ph.D. or terminal degree in an engineering discipline, computing discipline, computing education, engineering education, education, or equivalent field from an accredited institution of higher education, or equivalent combination of education and experience; potential for an established record in conducting research in innovative and influential areas of engineering and /or ccomputing education; interest in and potential for excellence in advising graduate students.
