The Brown Hotel Looking for Restaurant Host/Hostess at Louisville, KY Full Time

Both AM & PM shifts are available – prior upscale restaurant experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal communication skills and a professional appearance. Some essential functions of this position include but are not limited to: welcoming guests warmly and enthusiastically either in person or by phone. Scheduling reservations and greeting guests as they arrive. Effectively coordinating and controlling the flow of guests by greeting, seating, describing menu items and acknowledging departures of guests. Communicating with Managers, Servers and other staff members to ensure that every guest has an exceptional experience.

Requirements include but are not limited to:

Prior experience at a property of similar caliber and a polished professional appearance. Must be able to work a schedule to include weekends and holidays and possess exceptional phone manners, customer service and organizational skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be comfortable working on your feet throughout the entire shift

Hourly rate of $13-$16/hour based on experience
