POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, exempt position responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and enhancing all aspects of The Arc of King
County’s Human Resources Department.
ORGANIZATIONAL REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Department: Human Resources
Supervisor: Executive Director
Key Relationships: Senior Management Team, Staff
Supervisory Responsibility: Human Resources Assistant, Office Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Manager is accountable for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources and benefits management of the agency. The position requires both day-to-day HR processes and higher-level labor relations and risk management duties.
This position will collaboratively work with the Directors of each department of the agency to: recruit, hire, and onboard new employees; assist with all entry/exit functions; supervise and manage employee relations; assist with tracking of employee certificates and training; ensure policy implementation; manage benefits administration; and maintain complete employee records.
This position will also work closely with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate payroll, timesheet tracking, and completion of the agency annual cost report. Integrity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to get along well with others are crucial characteristics for this role. Knowledge of Pay NW or other payroll/HRIS systems for HR management is highly preferred.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience using Pay NW for payroll and HRIS is strongly preferred.
