What to Expect
Tesla is seeking to hire Commissioning Systems Owner Lead to support various
critical positions and/or functions within the project team.

What You’ll Do
- Leads day-to-day activities according to his/her area of assigned responsibilities following the execution
plan. - Prepares detail commissioning plans and procedures for system turnover.
- Monitors construction schedule in preparation to executing commissioning activities.
- Supports SME and Coordinates with appointed 3rd party contractors upcoming walk downs andcompletion of punch items prior to scheduled walk downs.
- Verifies with QA team the quality of contractors pre-commissioning activities on appointed systems.
- Leads as Tesla Owner to handover to Manufacturing / Operations / Facilities
- Supports SME with the mechanical piping and equipment check out
- Verifies data sheets are being implemented accordantly through weekly updates
- Verifies and red line any discrepancies in P&ID’s through weekly updates
- Supports QA team, inspects equipment prior to installation
- Supports and provides technical knowledge and solving skills as Commissioning SME (Subject Matter
Expert) - Pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up procedures
- Safety and risk mitigation plans
- Commissioning emergency plan
- Supports vendors in performance test run
- Supports systems design reviews in a wide range of disciplines
- Provides weekly schedule status updates to assigned Scheduler(s) to demonstrate commissioning status advancement, completion, or lack of advancement.
- Supports SME with assuring witnessing cleanliness criteria
- Reviews and comments on the operating manual
- Leads punch walk downs and weekly meetings
- Leads sign off pre-commissioning and commissioning check sheets with SME in weekly reviews
- Systemizes drawing packages and updates accordantly
- Systemizes Project commodities, processes and identifies system boundaries of each
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years Construction industry experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferred, but industry equivalent experience is acceptable
- 10+ years experience preparing commissioning plans and procedures for system turnover
- Extensive experience working/partnering with 3rd party vendors
- Expert level experience managing CxAlloy and turnover programs for systems handover
- Experience working in complex environments experiencing constant change
