About the Position*
As a senior-level production role, the Senior BIM Specialist is part of the production team that supports all levels of the engineering team across multiple disciplines. This individual manages the process of virtually constructing a building and documenting the design contract from the construction documents set through as-built submittals. It is their responsibility to manage the models, conduct BIM planning, and ensure collaboration, coordination, and accuracy on all projects. This individual serves as the go-to person on the project for modeling, documentation, and verifying design intent.
As the person responsible for QA/QC on projects, this individual must learn the fundamentals of technology systems such as telecommunications infrastructure, cabling, audiovisual, security, acoustics, and wired and wireless networks. They will therefore participate in the TEECOMuniversity in-house training program, including Bridge courses and one-on-one or group sessions. As an expert in Revit, they will participate in, create, and provide feedback on the Revit trainings in Pinnacle.
