Position Summary
The Learning Specialist (LS) will develop learning materials in support of various talent development initiatives, including but not limited to, self-paced eLearning and associated job aids / reference materials, virtual instructor-led course resources, multimedia, and other assets based on business needs. The Specialist will work with Learning Consultants and other stakeholders, as needed, to create engaging, learner-centric instructional materials and learning activities by applying principles of adult learning and instructional design. The Specialist will evaluate learning goals and business objectives to ensure alignment of content, multimedia, and learning activities in meeting learners’ needs, using technology and authoring tools appropriately. Learning solutions may cover a variety of subjects/priorities, including but not limited to, new employee onboarding, leadership and professional development, compliance, job/department specific requirements, product and services, and software systems.Â

Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in curriculum/instruction, instructional design or technology, workplace learning, adult education, industrial-organizational psychology, or related discipline
