The HR Consultant acts as a strategic business partner to leadership of designated business areas. The HR Consultant will work with leaders to understand how HR can improve business outcomes to support the organizations strategic direction and long-term goals. This position handles various areas of Human Resources management including employee relations, recruitment life cycle, and employee development.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related field required.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in multiple and complex human resources related functions required. Previous multi-state healthcare experience preferred.
Licensures and Certifications
PHR or SPHR certification preferred. SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Physical Requirements and Working conditions
This position may require manual dexterity and/or frequent use of the computer, telephone, 10-key, calculator, office machines (copier, scanner, fax) and/or the ability to perform repetitive motions and/or meet production standards to comply with the essential functions. Also, may require physical and/or mental stamina to work overtime, additional hours beyond a regular schedule and/or more than five days per week.
