The Accounting & Finance department partners closely with leaders across the Company, and supports the planning, organizing, controlling, safeguarding, accounting for and reporting on financial activities for the organization. We are service-oriented and focus on allowing others to Go Beyond, unlocking efficiency and driving growth.
Who You Are
The Senior Accountant will be a key asset to accounting team colleagues and to team members across the organization. You will be the primary leader for one of our core accounting functional areas (Payroll, Inventory, AP, AR, Cash Management, Revenue, General Accounting).
As an accounting leader, you will be responsible for a majority of the month/quarter/year-end closing process required to produce internal financial statements within that assigned area. You will partner with the Senior Accounting Manager to support the annual financial statement audit, acting as a liaison between TCGplayer and the external auditors.
You will be a key contributor as we build out our financial systems and processes. You will help grow and develop junior members of the team and be relentlessly focused on process improvement and driving financial rigor. As we build and expand the accounting team to scale with our growth, your ideas, creativity and commitment to growth will be valued and embraced.
