Strands Hair Care Looking for Marketing Associate at Remote Full Time

Strands Hair Care is an innovative, direct-to-consumer hair care company disrupting the market by introducing novel, at-home hair and scalp diagnostic tests and customized shampoo and conditioner products. We believe consumers should know their hair condition and have access to the best personalized products on the market.

Position Overview:
As the Marketing Associate, you will play an instrumental role in the growth and success of Strands Hair Care, working on all key aspects of retail and digital marketing to help achieve brand objectives & sales targets. This position will interact with all levels and departments and report to the Director of Marketing. It’s a small, collaborative team, so ideal hire is proactive and very hands on.

Responsibilities: *

• Participate in strategy and execution of 360 marketing plans across channels that may include, but are not limited to, website, email, SEO, organic social, paid advertising, influencer marketing, brand partnerships, retailer marketing and PR
• Partner with the entire marketing team to ensure alignment on strategic priorities. Act as a brand steward to maintain consistency and aesthetic across all agency and internal creative materials and all aspects of the customer journey.
• Take part in internal creative and agency meetings, and photo & video shoots
• Assist with building marketing calendars, developing creative briefs and managing timelines. Take meeting notes and file marketing assets from internal creative shoots or provided by agencies.
• Help manage Brand Ambassador & influencer marketing programs including helping to identify influencers, outreach, management, performance audit and UGC content collection.
• Support reporting on social, email & campaigns
• Conduct ongoing analysis of new trends, competitor brands, new and competing products and the advertising landscape. Offer insights based on findings including new product development recommendations and advertising approaches.
• Actively collect social listening data and check product reviews, help report key findings to the Marketing team
• Assist with creation of product education materials and refinement of target audience
• Help create organic social content and manage social media account including monitoring and responding to all social media comments and direct messages in a timely manner. (Content creation is a nice-to-have, opportunity only for a candidate with the right skills & experience).

Requirements

• 2+ years as a digital marketing or brand coordinator/associate at an in-house brand or agency
• Beauty and hair care experience preferred but not required
• Experience with digital marketing (organic, paid, email, website, analytics, etc.)
• Knowledge of social channels including TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest & YouTube
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
• A high level of organization with excellent attention to detail
• Creative and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Can do attitude. Willingness to learn and try new things.
• Ability to keep projects on track and on time
• Proactive with an ability to be both independent and a team player
• Proficiency in Canva, Photoshop, and Klaviyo is a plus
• Experience with retail marketing is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
