As a Director in the Civil Engineering Practice, you will lead a group of highly focused engineers. In this exciting opportunity for a senior Civil Engineer, you will manage, mentor, and motivate a team, helping engineers thrive in their careers. You will have an opportunity to expand your portfolio by working on exciting, high-profile, and complex projects.In addition to working on a variety of projects, you will partner with the Practice Leader to develop strategies for technical excellence, engagement, and growth. The Civil Engineering practice is focused on Site/Civil Land Development Engineering projects in a variety of sectors: Mixed-Use, Healthcare, Higher Ed, Residential and more. Our work includes grading, drainage, erosion control, utilities, stormwater, site planning, and permitting for development projects. Ideally, thisposition will be performed in Columbia, SC.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
You are willing and able to work in a professional, climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to lots of light, both natural and artificial. Workstations are in an open space layout with frequent collaboration and interactions from co-workers throughout the day. You are able to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Additional requirements include providing on-site technical assistance by occasionally accessing client or construction sites with varying terrain.
