DATES: June 12 – June 4, 2023 (8 weeks)
Monday through Friday ( No Class July 4th)
Swim Program Hours: PJ Jacobs Junior High 8:00am- 5:00pm (hours may vary depending on need/schedule)
One hour duty-free lunch
Prep time not to exceed 5 hours
Duties Include, But Not Limited To:
The chosen individual will supervise the PJ Jacobs site.
Generate student records and report cards. Generate American Red Cross course records, staff teaching assignments, and course curriculum. Place students in appropriate class levels. Assist instructional staff (i.e. overloads, substitutes for teacher absences, etc.) Certify staff in AED Essentials and CPR for the Professional Rescuer. Complete staff payroll sheets, accident reports, and statistical information for the State Report. Respond to parent, student, staff, and administrative emails and telephone calls. Keep swim program coordinator informed daily as needed.

Details: Site Coordinator must be certified in the following by June 8, 2023:
*American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification
*American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
*American Red Cross First Aid Certification
*American Red Cross CPR Professional Certification
*American Red Cross AED Certification
*Lifeguard Instructor Trainer Certification (preferred, but not mandatory)
