State Collection Service Inc Looking for Insurance Follow Up at Fort Hood, TX Full Time

Candidates of interest will live in the state of Texas

Our remote Insurance Follow-Up Specialists work to provide resolution on unpaid or denied medical claims. Significant duties include accurate claim submission, following up with insurance companies, working claim denials and completing appeals. The position works remotely, using the telephone and company computer systems to accomplish their daily tasks.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• 1+ year experience working in an insurance follow-up environment

• Knowledge/experience of medical terminology, patient billing, insurance and reimbursement process, healthcare insurance and/or healthcare administration

• Knowledge of State and Federal billing guidelines required

• Understanding of ICD/CPT medical billing codes

• Ability to enter and update data on company and client systems in an accurate, timely manner

• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

• Strong organization skills. The ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to work successfully and cooperatively within a team-based environment

• Articulate written and verbal communication skills

• Significant attention to detail
