Responsibilities:
Work with management team and departmental heads to identify recruiting needs and provide strategic direction and services in recruiting, new hire orientation, employee relations, training and coaching.
Ensure policies and procedures comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs including bonus plans, insurance and retirement plans and paid time off by benchmarking industry programs.
Develop company’s training and developmental activities including orientation, new hire training, development plans and ad hoc functional training. Primary role of synthesizing operations manual into job specific functional training program and maintaining training programs so that they exceed industry standards.
Evaluating individual and organizational performance to ensure training is meeting business needs and improving performance. Optimizing training processes for efficiency.
Selecting and managing resources and technologies required to develop, manage, and deliver training specific to each position (such as, most updated training material, on-line classes, lectures, e-training, real estate management training, etc.)
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations (DOO) and department heads, co-ordinate training for new and existing employees in accordance with the training program.
Frequently evaluates and reviews the training material and implements necessary changes and improvements.
Stays informed on pertinent policies and procedures by frequently reading and continued analysis of the company’s SOP’s.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Five to eight years of experience in human resources establishing employee relations, legal compliance, compensation and benefit programs, as well as staff training and experience in the most updated training systems and materials.
A proven track record of training program development and management
Bachelor’s degree in education or human resources
Strong MS Outlook Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills and HRIS
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
In-depth experience in property management industry preferred.
