Summary: Information Technology Supervisor directs the activities of subordinate personnel to provide support for desktop/laptop computers, printers, network servers and property specific applications/systems. The IT Supervisor works within general methods and procedures, exercises considerable independent judgment to select the proper course of action, and is required to review the work of subordinate, to ensure conformance with established guidelines, methods, procedures, and policies related to the information technology area. Also assist the IT Service Support Manager with department administrative duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Computer Technology or related areas; or 5+ years of related IT experience
- Experience Supervising IT Service Support Staff & Functions
- Experience in Hospitality & Gaming Industries information systems
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Servers and Networks, Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with Hotel System Including Property Management System, Point of Sale, PBX/Phone System.
- Experience with CLASS 3 Gaming System, WSGC Regulations and NIGC Minimum Internal Controls Standards.
Licensing Requirements:
- Class III Gaming License
Essential Job Functions:
- Ensures that all desktop systems run smoothly in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
- Support Microsoft Windows desktop computers, laptops, printer and other attached peripherals.
- Support Microsoft Windows applications and systems including but not limited to Windows Operating Systems, Office Application Suite Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange Servers
- Support Hospitality applications, systems and clients including but not limited to Point-of-Sale, Property Management, Player Tracking, and Slot Systems.
- Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
- Supervises and trains IT Service Support Technicians.
- Completes annual performance evaluations.
- Maintains support tickets database records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
- Directs the receipt of support calls and the diagnosis of equipment problems.
- Participates in rollout of desktop operating systems and applications.
- Support the Telecom (PBX) systems and support.
- Assists with selecting and ordering information technology equipment, supplies and parts.
- Perform other duties as required.
Physical/Mental Requirements
- Constantly talking or hearing; standing; walking; sitting; using hands to finger; handling or feeling objects, tools or controls.
- Constantly requires specific vision abilities of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Occasionally reaching with hands and arms and sitting; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
Working conditions:
