Job Description

• Responsible for performing job duties in a safe and conscientious manner, following all procedures, and policies established for the plant.
• Communicate with off going Cutting Line Operator.
• Review Process Specification for processing accuracy.
• Operate Cutting equipment as directed.
• Fill out shift machine paperwork.
• Fill out production board with appropriate counter measures.
• Perform quality checks as directed.
• Enter data into sap to make tickets.
• Place tickets on pallet.
• Program printers and change ribbon if needed.
• Change paper as needed.
• Change PVOH as needed.
• Enters notifications for all Safety issues, downtime, and maintenance issues.
• Must be cross functional in order to operate all Packaging Lines.
• Perform TPM activities as required.
• Perform product changes as needed.
• Understanding of plant processes; how activity on the floor affects financial performance
• Ability to communicate with and work effectively with all levels of teammates, from shop floor to leadership team.
• Actively participate on Rapid Improvement Events.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Able to be a Licensed Lift Truck Operator.
• Monitor inventory levels of all materials being consumed and report levels to Plant Planner.
• Able to utilize HMI computer system.

Qualifications

/Experience/Education:

• High School Graduate or GED is required
• Working knowledge of SAP preferred
• Experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
