Responsible for the operation of a manufacturing and/or packaging line(s), ensuring maximum production quantity and quality
Tends manual or semiautomatic systems that process chemical substances into industrial or consumer products
Loads specified amounts of solid and liquid materials into heating/cooling vessels or blending tanks

Responsibilities
• Operate manufacturing and/or packaging line(s) to maximize production quantity and quality
• Process chemical substances into industrial or consumer products
• Load materials into vessels or tanks
• Monitor chemical reactions and make necessary adjustments
• Perform quality control analysis
• Package, palletize, and stage products for transportation
• Maintain plant safety and good housekeeping
• Perform minor maintenance of equipment and workstations
• Assist with special projects as assigned
Requirements
• High School graduate
• Trade school certification in electronics or related field a plus
• Ability to read, write and comprehend documents in English
• Ability to lift up to 74 lbs repeatedly throughout work shift
• Ability to understand, analyze, and resolve technical problems
• Availability to work shift schedule
• Forklift operation skills
• Passing Sika proficiency test in reading comprehension and math ability
