Sentry Equipment Corp. Looking for Web Developer – Sr. at Oconomowoc, WI  Full Time

Sentry Equipment is looking for a Lead Web Application Developer to be an integral part of the Information Technology team, responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of custom business applications. Applications range from internally focused business process applications to externally facing web and ecommerce sites.

This role requires a high level of accuracy and ability to see the big picture while being adept with details. Must be proactive, forward thinking and can work in a fast paced, changing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, courtesy, customer service and ethics.

In addition to actual software development, this role will be responsible for leading the efforts to establish development standards and practices within the organization.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:

• Apply best practices and techniques to design, develop, test, deploy and support web applications based on business requirements
• Work with team to ensure consistency in processes and completion of deliverables
• Perform design and code reviews to maintain code quality, performance and application responsiveness
• Collaborate with business units to evaluate and prioritize continuous improvement
• Implement software configuration / customizations based on requirements
• Provide end user support and training as it relates to custom applications and interfaces
• Facilitate the integration of enterprise systems with other third-party applications
• Maintain detailed documentation of all customizations and development work
• Write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from relational databases

REQUIRED TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

• Degree in computer science, business, or technical related discipline
• 3+ years .NET development experience creating solutions with ASP.NET, MVC and C#
• Experienced using modern UI development frameworks; Bootstrap, Angular, React
• Solid understanding of modern web application architecture and design
• Experienced in deploying web applications in on Microsoft technology stack
• Knowledgeable in Windows Server, IIS and basic networking
• Experience using T-SQL with an ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like Git and CI/CD tools
• Experience with Azure Apps and Services a plus
• Experience with Digital Experience Platforms (DXP) a plus
