The Role:
In IT Operations, we connect the business. We are builders, innovators, and problem solvers. The Director of IT Operations is responsible for building, maintaining and improving the IT Operations organization, tools and processes, and career growth of the internal IT teams. This role has responsibilities across all the Brands and business units at CM Group, a global company with offices and employees in many major regions. You’ll be leading multiple internal IT teams with varying responsibilities and focus. You need to be a people person, but also technically minded with good leadership skills. While our US offices are centralized in Nashville, Tennessee, this position is remote-friendly.
In This Role Your Teams Will Be Responsible For:
Mentor and grow the careers of your teams.
Physical office, desktop, and end-user support.
Managing third party internally hosted tools for the business.
Managing SaaS hosted tools for the business.
Development and maintenance of first party IT tools.
Creating, maintaining, and growing vendor relationships.
Partnering with other teams such as HR, Security, and Procurement to facilitate deeper technology integration within the business and to improve internal processes.
Take ownership of IT department-wide initiatives to improve process, culture, technology, and more.
Participate extensively in onboarding of current and future M&As.
Sharing your passion for technology and teaching our internal users how to best interact with and utilize technology, providing support as needed via face to face interaction, chat, email, and telephone.
Develop IT policies and procedures to ensure that the departments operate effectively and reliably.
Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems.

Experience managing M&As from an IT Operations standpoint (tool, process, and team consolidations).
Ability to work with and manage an international team with members in the Americas, EU, and APAC.
Independent ability to research technical problems and solutions.
Leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Willingness to work flexible/odd hours at times, based on needs.
Knowledge of data protection operations and legislation.
Nashville or New York location / US Central or Eastern time zone preferred.
Ability to work in office required and per company policy, all employees must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated to be in office.
Occasional domestic and international travel.
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years experience running IT Operations teams for a 1000+ employee organization with globally dispersed employees and offices.
2+ years experience managing and mentoring IT managers.
Excellent communication and collaborative skills. Ability to communicate and work cross-functionally across multiple areas of the business.
Familiarity with Microsoft Licensing, Google Workspace, Slack, Okta, Zoom, Mosyle, ManageEngine, and other similar IT related tools and systems.
Experience with ISO27001, SSAE 18 SOC 2, and other IT management standards a strong plus.
