The San Diego Strike Force is in its current 2022 season and an active member in the community and continuously growing our leadership and reputation. We are seeking a creative and independent social media manager to support the growth, engagement and support of our marketing and content team.
Job Description
We are looking for a Part-time Social Media Manager to create, launch and publish throughout our various social channels such as TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Our Social Media Manager’s responsibilities include creating and promoting our content on social media. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new business. Please share samples of your work (portfolio or links to published articles) along with your application, specifically work with TikTok.
Ultimately, you will help us reach our target audience by delivering both useful and appealing online information about our company and products specifically through social media.
Responsibilities
Work alongside the San Diego Strike Force team to create a plan for social media strategies
Work alongside mobile app content creation team, sales and promotions team to create content for the mobile app and social media
Assist in the growth of the San Diego Strike Force brand by raising awareness through various social media platforms
Monitor postings to ensure brand message is constant from the terminology, values and goals used to images posted
Aid in the daily aspects of promoting the business and brand campaigns
Interact with followers and potential customers by communicating and answering questions through the organizations’ social pages
Assist in implementing plans to increase followers on popular social media websites such as TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn but limited to them
Help create content as dictated by the monthly editorial calendar to promote sales, blogs and products
Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral. This would include flyers, social posts, templates, and other promotional material
Skills
Adobe PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat DC, high attention to detail, at least basic video editing and content creation, photo and video editing skills are critical. At least basic knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web design. The ability to clearly communicate the reasoning behind design choices – a passionate Visual Storyteller
Must be self-motivated and work as part of a team serving the team members and supporting the overall team vision and purpose – a solutions-based driver to be innovative and creative.
