What’s the job?

• Refine process specifications for production lines throughout the facility, ensuring that processes lend themselves to maximum production efficiency and reliability.
• Research raw materials utilized and determine best practices for use and effective delivery to manufacturing equipment to reduce unnecessary waste and energy.
• Incorporate cutting edge technology and elements of Lean principles and continuous improvement to capture cost reduction opportunities.
• Work as part of cross-functional team to support key business unit priorities, key performance initiatives, and solutions for on-going reduction of company’s carbon footprint.
• Requires experienced professional with outstanding leadership and relationship building skills to develop high performance work teams. Comfortable with leadership techniques such as coaching and mentoring.

What do you bring?

• 4-year degree in engineering is preferred; other technical degrees will be considered.
• Must possess strong communication skills, and demonstrated commitment to safety behaviors and systems.
• Knowledge of or ability to understand operational excellence principles and tools, such as 5S, SMED, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and TPM.
• Strong computer skills, excellent time management, analytical, flexible in adapting to changing situations and business conditions.
• Ability to diagnose and prioritize opportunities in areas of savings, throughput improvement, and yield improvement.
• Must be able to design experiments and provide statistical analysis of those trials as to effectiveness.
