Project Manager/Civil Engineer
As a Project Manager, you will manage several projects designing, conducting, and implementing environmental site assessments, advanced site characterization investigations, analyzing and reducing associated soil and groundwater data, preparing Site Investigation Reports, reviewing, and analyzing data for Remedial Investigation/Feasibility Studies, Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), Remedial Action Plans /RAPs) and participate in Regulatory Negotiations.
This position will be remote but will require some travel for site visits and field work support.
Preferred Geologist Degree – Environmental industry or science background preferred. A thorough understanding of soil and groundwater contaminant investigation, environmental drilling and sampling, and associated regulations are necessary.
Role Responsibilities:
· Managing project scope, schedule, and budget for activities including well installation, well abandonment, site investigation, and other field work.
· Interact and correspond with clients
· Technical report writing and review
· Prepare cost estimates and proposals
· Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders
· Coordinating work schedules with Rubik staff and subcontractors
· Health and safety stewardship
Desired Education and Certificates:
· 5+ years’ experience in environmental consulting (3 years’ project management)
· Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Engineering or closely related field
· Professional Geologist (P.G.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
· 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
· SWPPP QSD or QSP
